Family Promise of Bryan County Announces Change in Leadership

Savannah CEO - August 2, 2019 - This week, Family Promise of Bryan County announced a change of executive leadership at the nonprofit organization. With mutual agreement, the Family Promise Board of Directors and its Network Director, Candice Fife, have determined it’s time for a new leader. Fife has announced her resignation from the charitable organization in order to pursue other professional and personal interests. A search for her successor is being organized. Family Promise’s Board Chairwoman Chris Hasson will handle the director’s duties in the interim, with support and assistance from the other board members.

The transition to a new leadership team will include the implementation of some new plans that offer community members plenty of opportunities to become involved. Family Promise is working hard to help eradicate and prevent homelessness in the county, but the nonprofit’s mission requires help and support from the community. Anyone who’s been curious about what the organization does, has thought about volunteering or previously lent a hand is encouraged to make a move or renew that support.

“Now more than ever, we’re relying on our friends, neighbors and past supporters to reach out and help us ensure that the families we care for will continue to get the assistance they need. So please, get in touch and find out more about the ways you can aid us in ending homelessness among families in Bryan County,” Hasson said.
